A 4th place in this final regular season match was just not enough to enable us to defend out Cup Final win of 2003 but we shall just have to win the Plate instead. Best performances came from our hurdlers - Harriet Lester equalling her pb in the U15 75m event at 11.8 and Phoebe Haynes clocking a useful personal best of 13.4 in 2nd place in the U13 70m.Scores - S&D 373,AFD 240,Walton 192,K&P 181 etc.

Dominique Blaize medalled twice at the Alexander Stadium but,by her own high standards, would probably have been disappointed. A fine 5m87 LJ could not match Jade Surman's 5m99 and she had to settle for silver whilst there was a 3-way tie in the HJ,with Dominique taking bronze on countback. Harriet Lester ran 12.18 in her 75H semi and reached 4m73 in the LJ,whilst Stuart Price, still not back to his best after injury, ran 11.93 in his heat, some half-a-second short of his best.
