Notes on Policy
1 At the merger in 1985,the records of Polytechnic Harriers(Open Men only,there being no official records for other age groups) and those of the Royal Borough of Kingston AC(transitionally from Surrey Ladies AC and Surrey AC) for Open Women,Intermediate Women(now Under 17 Women),Junior Girls(now Under 15 Girls) and Minor Girls(now Under 13 Girls) were officially adopted by the new Club.
2 In 2011,after a review to consider known and subsequent unresolved doubts regarding wind legality on several older records,K&P has opted to recognise later marks with clear non-legal readings alongside the next highest,in order to ensure consistency,transparency and fairness for our modern(and sometimes over-closely monitored) athletes.
