A plea from the heart.

Dear Secretary

My attempted phone call earlier was because i just got my entry for the SEAA indoor open meeting on the 18 November returned, because they've cancelled for lack of entries!. I know the date was rather early, but i'm sure the real reason is because they publicised it the same way they used to publicise their Vets Championship (i.e. not at all).

As it was their first open meeting and not a championship, you'd think a full page advert in AW would have been a requisite to letting people know it was happening!

Is it arrogance - we exist therefore they will enter?

Is it timidity - if we spend any money publicising it we will make an even bigger loss?

Has someone got an agenda to seize the Association's funds, and are trying to kill it off by making sure it does not fulfil its remaining function of providing competition?

Please forward this email to anyone you think would gee them up to fulfil their function, or put it on the K&P website.
