K&P's women came through splendidly to score one hundred and eighty!!!! in 3rd place in this Round 3 match in a fixture featuring 4 of the top six in the League table, and we now find ourselves handily placed at 6th overall at the halfway stage in the 2004 campaign.

Good performances abounded, not least from our vets where new club vets records were posted by the returning Rachel Disley(3k 10.34.6),Camilla Thrush(of course)(HT 35.77 - also an Open Record) and from Gunhild Vogel in the PV).Not to be outdone,Rachel Burbridge(2.18.4 800 & a 60.0 final 400 relay split),Harriet Lester(LJ 5.02),Dani Ayres(PV 2.00),Nicky Atkins(3000 12.06.6) & Roseanne Mackay(27.4 200) were better than ever.As ever, the Sash/Lana/Sarah/Dominique quartet all claimed 5 pointers and, whilst it was our classy U15s/U13s who headed their section, our older athletes confirmed the improvement in our 'older stock'!! Scores - Woking 197,Exeter 192,K&P 180,E&E 145,HuntsC&C 106. And overall we are well in contention with 545pts,only 83 adrift of leaders Woking.
